Turkey attempts to neutralise PKK tunnels in Iraq despite dissolution of Kurdish militant group

While the PKK has announced its dissolution and intention to stop fighting, clashes continue in Iraqi Kurdistan between Kurdish guerrillas and the Turkish army. Turkish forces seek to neutralise the PKK’s extensive tunnel network in the Gara Mountains – a war unfolding in a remote region, away from cameras.
