UAE residents can expect a six-day long weekend on account of Eid Al Adha 2023 in June. The dates predicted are June 28, 29 and 30. One day prior to the Eid Al Adha holidays will be Arafat Day on June 27, which has officially been announced as a public holiday.

Overall, combining Arafat Day, Eid Al Adha and the official UAE weekend would give residents a six-day holiday.

Travel rates saw a massive surge during the Eid Al Fitr long weekend, last month. Residents were increasingly seeking visa-free destinations.

Dubai Airports saw over 200,000 passengers passing through, within 24 hours during Eid Al Fitr. Of these passengers, 110,000 were arrivals.

More flights were added to multiple high-demand destinations to accommodate the increase in travel rates.

Emirates offered 38 additional flights across six GCC cities to meet rising demand, over 110,000 travellers were expected to fly with the airline during the holiday period.
