Police investigate deadly shooting on Labette Manor in Little Rock

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Update: 22-year-old Travein Howard was arrested in connection with this incident and charged with capital murder.

The Little Rock Police Department is investigating a homicide that happened on Monday afternoon.

According to reports, at about 3:40 p.m., officers were called with reports of a shooting in the 2100 block of Labette Manor.

Once they arrived at the scene, they found an adult man in the parking lot suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound.

Paramedics quickly arrived, but the man was pronounced dead while still at the scene.
