One Killed, One Injured in Harrison County ATV Crash

A Memorial Day ATV accident in the Wallace area of Harrison County has left one person dead and one person injured, according to Harrison County 911 officials.

According to the media log, the incident was called in at 4:16 p.m. The West Virginia Medical Examiner was called to the scene of the crash on Monday. The area of the accident was Jones Run Road.

The injured individual was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital.

WDTV reported Tuesday that 74-year-old Anita White was killed in the accidental crash. WDTV also reported that officials told them neither drugs nor alcohol were involved in the crash.

Along with the Medical Examiner, the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office responded with the Harrison County and Taylor County Emergency Squads. The volunteer fire departments from Wallace, Lumberport, and Folsom were on the scene as well.
