There will be lane closures on the Interstate 79, northbound and southbound lanes, from mile marker 159 to mile marker 161, (Star City, West Virginia to Mount Morris, Pennsylvania), starting at 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2025, and lasting until mid-spring 2026, so crews can work on installation of bridge replacement in the right lane and outer shoulders.
All traffic will be switched and kept to the left lane throughout the work zone.
Expect delays. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow additional time for their commute.
Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
