City Resident, Long-Time Business Owner in Harrison County, James “Jimmy” Lacaria, Passes Away at 67

Jimmy was a 1975 graduate of WI High School and worked as a self-employed businessman. His life was his family and work. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Clarksburg, and a fourth-degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Clarksburg.
In addition to his wife, Jimmy is survived by his three children, Sam Lacaria, James “Jimmy” Lacaria, and Maria Lacaria, all of Bridgeport, WV; siblings, Joann (Jeff) Barger, of Bridgeport, WV, Donna (Jimmy) Wilson, Nashville, TN, Sam J. (Tammy) Lacaria, Bridgeport, WV, Christopher “Chris” Lacaria, Kingsland, GA, Mary Ann Cincinnati, of Martinsburg, WV; sisters in law, Monica (Pete) Bockelmann, Bridgeport, WV, Regina Harris, Clarksburg, WV; brother in law, Gary Maseda, Dayton, MD; special aunt, Rose Pugh, Alexandria, VA; several cousins, and nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Caesar & Lena (Ovsak) Maseda.
Friends may call at Davis Funeral Home and Crematory, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg, WV, on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 7:30 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:30PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted on March 26, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Casey Mahone as celebrant. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Clarksburg, WV.
