A Bridgeport man was among eight individuals indicted on the second day of the June term of the Marion County Grand Jury.
Daylin Antonio Smith, 25, was indicted by the grand jury. The cases were brought forth by Marion County Prosecuting Attorney Jeffrey L. Freeman.
Smith was indicted for delivery of a controlled substance. The drug listed in information provided by the prosecuting attorney’s office was marijuana.
An indictment is merely an allegation, and each defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
