According to MetroNews, a 39-year old Clarksburg woman faces up to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty Tuesday to
Chantal Larue Skinner, also known as Chantal Larue Cleer, told the judge she acted out of desperation when facing eviction from the home where she cared for two children and a grandchild. She went on to say local organizations were unable to help creating a situation that caused her to panic.
Skinner stole $1,100. She was quickly arrested and admitted her involvement, authorities said.
