Green Visa:

Duration: Five-year residence permit.

Eligibility: Skilled employees, freelancers, and investors.

Requirements for skilled employees:

  • Valid UAE employment contract.
  • Classified in the first, second, or third occupational level.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Salary of at least Dh15,000 per month.

Benefits:

  • Five-year residence permit in the UAE without a sponsor.
  • Ability to sponsor first-degree relatives.
  • Six-month grace period after visa cancellation for exiting the UAE.

Freelancer requirements:

Freelancer permit from MOHRE.

Proof of Bachelor's degree or specialized diploma.

Income proof of minimum Dh360,000 or equivalent in other currency over the past two years.

 

Golden Visa:

Duration: 10-year residency.

Eligibility: Frontline heroes, outstanding students, investors, entrepreneurs, scientists, and humanitarian workers.

Benefits:

  • Unlimited family sponsorship.
  • No restrictions on stay duration outside the UAE.
  • Six-month e-visa for processing.
  • Family members can stay until the permit's duration ends in case of the visa holder's death.

 

Virtual Work Residence Visa:

Duration: One year.

Eligibility: Foreigners employed outside the UAE.

Benefits:

  • Legitimate residency in the UAE while employed outside the country.
  • Self-sponsorship for one year.

Requirements:

Proof of remote work for an organization outside the UAE.

Monthly income of at least US$3,500 (Dh12,853) or equivalent in another currency.

Apply through ICP for working remotely from Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, or Fujairah.

Dubai's remote work program:

Apply through GDRFA Dubai.

Valid for one year.

Additional requirements: Passport with six months validity and valid health insurance.

Additional requirements for employed individuals:

Proof of employment from a current employer with a one-year contract, minimum monthly salary of US$3,500 (Dh12,853), last month's payslip, and three preceding months' bank statements.

Additional requirements for business owners:

Proof of company ownership for at least one year, with an average monthly income of US$3,500 (Dh12,853) or equivalent in foreign currencies, and three preceding months' bank statements.

Proof of remote work or employment outside the UAE.
