According to WDTV, HealthNet responded to a two-vehicle accident on I-79 North between Lost Creek and Jane Lew Thursday afternoon and landed on the interstate.
A box truck collided with a van at approximately 1:45 p.m. near mile marker 107 between the Jane Lew and Lost Creek exits, according to Harrison County 911 officials.
When crews arrived on scene, one person was trapped in their vehicle, officials said.
One person was flown to the hospital via HealthNet while another was taken to the hospital by ambulance, officials said.
The accident led to the complete shutdown of I-79 in the northbound lanes.
