Son marries in a simple ceremony, Adani pledges 10k crore for social causes | India News

AHMEDABAD: Adani Group chairperson Gautam Adani’s younger son Jeet married fiance Diva Jaimin Shah at a small and intimate, traditional ceremony with a close group of friends and family in attendance on Friday.
The tycoon kept the wedding simple and marked the occasion with a Rs 10,000 crore pledge towards healthcare, education and skill development infrastructure.
The wedding was an intimate affair with only close family and friends in attendance. A reception for the employees has been planned for Saturday.
“With the blessings of Almighty God, Jeet and Diva tied the sacred knot of marriage today,” Adani posted on X. “It was a small and extremely private function, so we could not invite all the well-wishers even if we wanted to, for which I apologise.”
Sources said a small number of family and friends were invited for the wedding performed according to Jain tradition at Shantigram. No celebrity was invited to the ceremony, they added. PTI
