Police ID Woman Recently Found Deceased in Area

WDTV reported that authorities have released the name of the 49-year-old woman whose body was found near the river in the Colfax area of Marion County Thursday evening, June 26.

According to Marion County Sheriff Roger Cunningham, Erin Bunner is the victim’s name.

No foul play is suspected, Cunningham said. Instead, there are suspected medical issues that may have contributed to her death.

Neighbors found Bunner’s body and called 911, Cunningham said.
