A boat crash on Lake Hamilton reportedly left multiple people dead and three injured.
GARLAND COUNTY, Ark. — A boat crash on Lake Hamilton involving two vessels reportedly left multiple dead and multiple injured on Sunday night.
According to reports from officials, the incident took place on August 31, 2025 at around 11:16 p.m. between Skinny Dip Cove and the entrance to White Oak Basin.
They say that three people have died and at least three others were left injured as a result of the incident involving a westbound Yamaha ski boat and an eastbound Tahoe ski boat.
Officials with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission have confirmed that the three victims who lost their lives were identified as 36-year-old Andrew Eason of Mabelvale, 50-year-old Justin Hall of Hot Springs, and 44-year-old Edis Miller of Hot Springs.
Lake Hamilton Fire responded to the scene and had divers in the water locate Hall and Miller. However, they were unable to locate Hall and Miller on Sunday night.
Arkansas Game and Fish divers were back in the lake on Labor Day and were able to locate the two bodies in 42 feet of water.
Officials also say that this is also reportedly the first deadly accident of the year that has happened on Lake Hamilton and it is currently under investigation by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission’s boating accident reconstruction team.
A close friend to Miller and Hall has described them as lighting up every room they walked into. Miller was a nurse at a local hospital and Hall was an investor and entrepreneur.
At this time, no additional information is available. However we are actively working to learn more and will update as soon as we can.
The investigation into this incident remains ongoing.
