Middletown Commons Newest Tenant, Panera Bread, Getting Closer to Opening its Doors at Development

Panera Bread, which has a location at Clarksburg’s Eastpointe Plaza, is set to be the latest addition to Middletown Commons. Middletown Commons sits on the former site of Middletown Mall in White Hall.

Construction activity has ramped up in recent days on the new restaurant. Calls to Panera were not returned, and Mike Audia of Premier Realty, whose company is involved with the property, could not be reached. A local business owner did say they anticipate the business to be opening within weeks.

Panera Bread is a fast-casual restaurant chain known for its bakery-cafe style and focus on fresh-baked bread, sandwiches, soups, salads, and other food items. They have more than 2,000 locations in the United States and Canada.
