“We just started screaming continuously,” one Little Rock woman said after she found out she won a $500K lottery prize.
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — An Arkansas lottery player won a huge prize during her regular commute to work.
B. Todd of Little Rock won $500,000 after playing a $20 instant game called 200X the Cash. The ticket was purchased at QuikTrip #7211 on 1215 Otter Creek Road in Little Rock.
Todd originally took the day off of work but decided to stick a part of her pre-work routine after a schedule change. She then visited QuikTrip and purchased a ticket that she scratched off in the store.
Todd saw she won $500,000 and was astonished. She texted her daughter a photo of the winning ticket.
She shared the news on the phone and said her and her daughter “started screaming continuously.”
The Little Rock woman plans to invest her winnings and share them with her daughter.
Todd claimed her prize on May 13 at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Claim Center.
