There are many reasons why this time of year represents our favourite Dubai season. But one of the strongest factors of attraction is the return of the life alfresco – a sudden bloom of terraces, hidden away from the summer chaleur, now return – with unfurling awnings soaking in the autumn sun.
Within that space, you’ll find few with the romantic grandeur and easy Gallic charm, as that of La Cantine du Faubourg. The breezy botanical showpiece of this pinnacle of Parisian chic, the terrace, has now reopened and is welcoming guests back to the great outdoors.
Found in the arrondissement of Dubai Financial Centre, La Cantine du Faubourg serves up a menu of French and international dishes. Chef Gilles Bosquet uses premium seasonal produce to put together statement signatures such as beef short ribs, yellowfin ceviche, veal Milanese and lobster spaghetti.
It’s a venue described by its creators as “an artistic rendezvous, a lifestyle statement” and one that speaks with a strong French accent, whispering of art, music, images, food and l’amour.

And as part of their ongoing commitment to celebrating art in all its fractal forms, La Cantine has added a new limited-time experiential dimension to their combined offering. ‘En Route,’ is a brand new art exhibition focusing the spotlight on the remarkable works of acclaimed American artist Seth P. Benzel.
Benzel is known for creating thought-provoking and inspirational works creations, and with this new gallery ensemble – his unique pieces add another layer of aesthetic excellence to the already outstanding, curated La Cantine experience.
