FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — One person was injured after a crash near a dorm on the University of Arkansas (U of A) campus on April 23.
John Thomas with the U of A confirmed there was a crash on campus Wednesday evening, but didn’t provide further details about the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The Fayetteville Fire Department (FFD) later shared that it responded to the scene alongside Central EMS and the University of Arkansas Police Department (UAPD).
FFD said one person was transported with minor injuries and the scene was turned over to UAPD.

The second car involved in the crash, visibly damaged as well, was resting perpendicular to the road a short distance away.
