HEF Photonics has officially acquired Agama Glass Technologies, a leader in anti-glare and technical glass processing. The acquisition marks a major expansion and enhances its position in the specialty optics and display glass markets.
“This acquisition means more opportunities for our citizens right here in Harrison County,” said Senator Queen. “With HEF’s investment, families will be able to live, work, and grow right here at home.”
The acquisition, announced May 9, 2025, marks a significant milestone for both companies. This is an investment of approximately $4million by the company into the city and will create 70 new jobs for residents.
Jean-Noël Maran, General Manager of HEF Photonics North America, noted the acquisition strengthens HEF’s reach and capabilities. “We are pleased to welcome Agama Glass into the HEF family. Together, we will deliver even greater value to customers in high-growth sectors through our combined technologies and expertise.”
The acquisition aligns with HEF Photonics’ broader strategy, following its recent acquisition of Telic Company, and positions the group to offer an unmatched suite of design, fabrication, and coating solutions across a wide range of industries.
