Business Once with Bridgeport Location on the Move as it Relocates to New Site Following 12 Years

According to WDTV, Hermosilla’s Deli has moved from Morgantown Avenue in Fairmont to a bigger location on Merchant Street.

After almost 12 years on Morgantown Avenue, the Hermosillas’ family has decided to move locations but keep all the things the community already knows and loves.

“What our father built here on Morgantown Avenue has been the foundation of everything we do,” Hermasillas posted on Facebook. “It’s bittersweet to say goodbye, but we are so proud to carry his dream forward and grow it into what is waiting for us on Merchant Street.”

The owners wanted to let the public know that they do have the same phone number—304-366-4376, but there have been some issues with people calling from AT&T. They are currently trying to get the issue fixed but recommend stopping by in person in the meantime.

The deli is open daily from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and if you are stopping by, just note that they may have limited parking in the front, but there is a larger lot behind the building.

Another positive change that is coming with the new location is gelato! The businesses have stated that the deli will now offer gelato and that they plan to have four flavors at a time and rotate through the different offerings.

“We are endlessly grateful to this community — you’ve stood by us every step of the way, and none of this would have been possible without your support,” said the owners. “Here’s to honoring where we’ve been and to the exciting new chapter ahead. Merchant Street, here we come.”
