Please be advised that the Bridgeport Water Department will be flushing fire hydrants throughout the City of Bridgeport.
This is the final week of scheduled fire hydrant flushing; however, routine maintenance and repairs will continue, as needed.
City Employees will be flushing fire hydrants, weather permitting, Monday, October 6, 2025 through Friday, October 10, 2025, in the following areas of Bridgeport:
WEEK 19 – OCTOBER 6-10, 2025
It is possible, but not likely, that residents may experience some discoloration, cloudy water, low pressure, or temporary loss of water service during this period. The City will not be responsible for any damage caused by discolored water.
