Bridgeport to See 38 Sections of City Facing Potential Water Issues for Period of July 21 through August 1

Please be advised that the Bridgeport Water Department will be flushing fire hydrants throughout the City of Bridgeport. This is an on-going project that will continue through Fall 2025.

City Employees will be flushing fire hydrants, weather permitting, Monday, July 21, 2025 through Friday, August 1, 2025, in the following areas of Bridgeport:

WEEK 10 – JULY 21 – 25, 2025

WEEK 11 – JULY 28 – AUGUST 1, 2025

It is possible, but not likely, that residents may experience some discoloration, cloudy water, low pressure, or temporary loss of water service during this period. The City will not be responsible for any damage caused by discolored water.
