Bridgeport to See 26 Sections of City Facing Potential Water Issues for Period of June 23 through July 3

Please be advised that the Bridgeport Water Department will be flushing fire hydrants throughout the City of Bridgeport. This is an on-going project that will continue through Fall 2025.

City Employees will be flushing fire hydrants, weather permitting, Monday, June 23, 2025 through Thursday, July 3, 2025, in the following areas of Bridgeport:

WEEK 7 – JUNE 23-27, 2025

WEEK 8 – JUNE 30 – JULY 3, 2025

It is possible, but not likely, that residents may experience some discoloration, cloudy water, low pressure, or temporary loss of water service during this period. The City will not be responsible for any damage caused by discolored water.
