Berlin’s ‘Together for Gaza’ rally draws tens of thousands protesters urging end to war

Waving Palestinian flags and chanting, “free, free Palestine”, tens of thousands of protesters gathered in the heart of Berlin Saturday to call for an end to the Gaza war. Demonstrators also called for EU sanctions against Israel, breaking with Germany’s longstanding pro-Israel stance, mainly due to its historical responsibility for the Holocaust.
