America needs to show some 'backbone', use its leverage against Russia, political scientist says

FRANCE 24’s Mark Owen speaks to Peter Zalmayev, Director of the Eurasian Democracy Initiative, about the latest Ukraine negotiations in Washington. He says that America has leverage with Russia but hasn’t really employed it so far, adding that the United States needs to show to some ‘backbone’ and ‘not fall prey to Putin’s wiles’.
