UAE: New Deadline Set for Unemployment Insurance Registration
Ministry issues reminder that fine for not registering is Dh400

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) in the UAE has announced a revised deadline for registering for unemployment insurance. The fines for non-registration will now be implemented from October 1, 2023, instead of the previously stated date of July 1, 2023.

The decision to postpone the deadline aims to provide ample time for all citizens and residents to complete the registration process and avail themselves of the benefits offered by the scheme.

As a reminder, the ministry emphasizes that the penalty for not registering is Dh400.

Employees have multiple options to register, including the official website http://iloe.ae, the iloe smart application, Kiosk devices, ATMs, business service centers, exchange companies (such as Al Ansari Exchange), banking applications, telecom companies bill, and via text messages.
