OSN+ Announces Debut Of HBO Original Series THE IDOL On June 5

The Idol, starring Lily-Rose Depp as Jocelyn and Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye as Tedros, is a provocative drama set against the backdrop of Hollywood’smusic industry from Sam Levinson, creator of Euphoria.The series follows the story of Jocelyn, a rising pop star, who faces the challenges of fame as she navigates a relationship with club owner Tedros.Co-created by Sam Levinson (HBO’s “Euphoria”), Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye and Reza Fahim, the series will premiere at this year’s Festival de Cannes.
