Instead, it charges the 39.2kWh battery pack, which powers two electric motors that deliver a combined output of 483hp and 720Nm. Performance is exhilarating, with a 0-100 km/h time of just 4.5 seconds.

In pure EV mode, the Voyah Free has a CLTC-rated range of 210 kilometres. However, with the 1.5-liter petrol engine and a 56-liter fuel tank combined with the 39.2kWh battery pack, it achieves an impressive total range of 1,221 km. The low-slung look works well for urban environments and highways. However, if more ground clearance is needed, the air suspension system allows for an increase of up to 100mm.
