New MG HS Launched In The UAE With Improved Turbo-Petrol Engines

MG Motor has started its new year on a high note by launching the much-awaited 2025 MG HS compact SUV in the UAE and the Middle East. The new MG HS is now available across the GCC, Iraq, and Jordan. The new MG HS is now more spacious, and technologically advanced with improved turbo-petrol engines at a starting price of AED 89,000.

According to Inter Emirates Motors, the official distributor of MG cars in the UAE, the new HS is available for reservations with deliveries said to begin soon.

The exterior design of the 2025 MG HS showcases significant updates that refine its aesthetics, enhancing both style and functionality. Here’s a breakdown of the key design elements:

The new MG HS is 45mm longer, 14mm wider, and 30mm taller than the older model. Its wheelbase is also 45mm longer, making the cabin roomier. The boot space has increased by 44 litres as compared to the previous model.

Apart from being roomier than the older model, the new MG HS is also equipped with a lot more features to make the cabin a pleasant experience. A standout element is the twin 12.3-inch digital displays. 

The new ‘shuttle-style’ gear shifter adds to the contemporary design, while the seats are designed for comfort with adjustable functions. Finally, there is a large panoramic sunroof adding to the premium feel of the cabin.

The new MG HS will continue to compete against other compact SUVs sold in the UAE. This includes the Hyundai Tucson, Kia Sportage, Mazda CX-5, Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V, Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max, and Jetour Dashing; among others.

The MG HS is available with two engine options: a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine and a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine.

The new MG HS is offered with Level-2 ADAS and is rated 5 stars for crash safety by Global NCAP.

Currently, MG is not offering the new HS with the hybrid engine option in the UAE that is available in the global market.
