The BJ30 is available in 6 single-tone exterior colours, and you can choose between two interior colour options. Bookings for the new BJ30 are being accepted on the brand’s official website, and deliveries are said to start soon.

The BAIC BJ30 is offered with two engine options. The base LV2 variant and mid LV3 variants come with the naturally-aspirated petrol engine while the top-spec LV5 trim comes with a powerful petrol-hybrid powertrain option. Here are the performance figures:

The 2024 BAIC BJ30’s exterior combines rugged off-road elements with modern styling cues. Its front fascia features BAIC’s signature five-hole grille seamlessly integrated with boxy LED headlights, creating a sleek, glasses-like design. Unpainted bumpers and skid plates highlight its adventurous capability.

The side profile showcases a boxy silhouette, glossy black fenders, and a floating roof effect achieved with black trim on the C-pillar. The SUV rides on 18-inch or 19-inch alloy wheels, depending on the variant. At the rear, vertically stacked LED tail lights and skid plates continue the off-road theme.

The 2024 BAIC BJ30’s interior design combines modern technology with practical features to create a comfortable and functional cabin. The SUV features a five-seater configuration with ample legroom and headroom, thanks to its increased dimensions compared to the previous model.

High-quality materials, including soft-touch surfaces and premium upholstery, elevate comfort levels. The rear seats are foldable, allowing the cargo space to expand up to 1,496 litres, accommodating larger items or even a bed for travel or adventure. AI-assisted voice commands control various functions, enhancing driver convenience and safety.

This Chinese SUV comes loaded with a host of features including two large displays. Here are the highlights:

The new BJ30 is placed in the highly competitive compact SUV segment. It rivals the likes of the Jetour T2, Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max, Exeed TXL, Nissan X-Trail, and Toyota RAV4; among others. However, the BJ30 is loaded with features and an efficient hybrid engine that are missing in some of its competitors.

Bookings for the BAIC BJ30 have begun and one can book the SUV at the BAIC showroom in Deira, Dubai. In addition to launching the BJ30, BAIC UAE also announced that two new showrooms would be opening — one each in Abu Dhabi & Al Ain. Deliveries of the BAIC BJ30 will begin in February 2025.

Prices for the BAIC BJ30 start at AED 94,000 for the base LV2 variant. The mid LV3 variant is priced at AED 102,000 while the top-spec LV5 variant is priced at AED 114,000. All prices are exclusive of VAT.

The BAIC BJ30 features an all-wheel-drive system (AWD) with advanced driving modes such as snow, mud, sand & wading.

The new BAIC BJ30 is a five-seater SUV.

Yes, the top-spec variant of the BAIC BJ30 features a hybrid powertrain — a 1.5-litre petrol combined with two electric motors.
