Having established itself as the go-to platform for car buyers and sellers in the UAE, DubiCars showcases numbers that are nothing short of astonishing: 

DubiCars boasts a total audience of 690,000, a number that could fill 1,250 fully loaded Airbus A380s, a staggering feat considering it is the world’s largest passenger plane. You get a sense of DubiCars’ impressive reach given that, this is a number that is 69 times the Burj Khalifa’s maximum capacity and can pack the Dubai Mall 3.5 times on a busy day. 

DubiCars also outperforms its competitors on more than 2.5 million monthly automotive searches. This figure matches the monthly ridership of Dubai Metro’s busiest lines and is equivalent to filling the Coca-Cola Arena 150 times — more than the number of visitors Expo 2020 attracted during its busiest month.  These numbers speak volumes not just about DubiCars’ market dominance but also its deep-rooted connection with Dubai’s thriving economy and burgeoning population.

In 2014, DubiCars officially embarked on its journey, establishing itself as a reliable platform for car buyers and sellers across the UAE. In 2019, DubiCars launched ControlAuto, the region’s first SaaS platform for car dealers. This innovative software provided dealers with comprehensive tools to manage their inventory, sales, and customer relationships more effectively. 

ControlAuto streamlined dealership operations, enhancing the overall car-buying experience and further establishing DubiCars as a leader in automotive technology. Control Auto remains the only SaaS solution in the Middle East dedicated to automotive dealerships.

That same year, Dubai made headlines as the city where tourists outspent those in every other city globally. This impressive milestone highlighted the city’s growing reputation as a luxury destination and a hub for international commerce. 

In 2020, DubiCars expanded its services to cater to global export buyers, marking a major step in its international growth strategy. By facilitating car exports from the UAE to buyers around the world, DubiCars opened up a new avenue and positioned itself as a key player in global automotive trade. This expansion highlighted the company’s ability to adapt to changing market dynamics.

On the environmental front, Dubai continued to push for green mobility by offering incentives to electric vehicle (EV) buyers. These incentives included free charging, reduced registration fees, and priority parking, all aimed at encouraging residents to make the switch to EVs. In 2022, DubiCars introduced a finance-based car search feature, allowing buyers to search for vehicles based on financing options. This innovation made the platform more accessible to a wider audience, particularly those seeking financial flexibility when purchasing a car. The new feature was a significant step forward in making car buying more user-friendly and personalized.

2022 also saw the opening of the highly anticipated Dubai Museum of the Future, an architectural marvel and a symbol of the city’s forward-thinking vision. The museum is dedicated to exploring innovative technologies and their potential to shape the future.

In 2023, DubiCars experienced significant internal growth, with its team doubling in size to support the company’s expanding operations. This rapid growth reflected the increasing demand for DubiCars’ services and its commitment to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The larger team allowed the company to innovate further and enhance its platform’s capabilities.

Dubai solidified its status as a supercar haven, ranking among the top 5 cities globally for the sheer number of supercars. This ranking highlighted Dubai’s love for luxury and high-performance vehicles. Both Dubai and DubiCars were at the forefront of the luxury car market.

As DubiCars celebrates a decade of success, the future looks brighter than ever. With ambitious plans for further expansion, new features, and technological advancements, the company is poised to continue leading the automotive marketplace in the UAE and beyond.
