Aston Martin Rapide AMR Review — A Four-Door GT With Racing-Pedigree

The Aston Martin Rapide AMR features a bold and aggressive exterior design, blending sportiness with luxury. Aston Martin Racing team have done several upgrades to the standard Rapide S to create the AMR version. The Rapide AMR is equipped with an upgraded version of Aston Martin’s 6.0-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine. It produces 595hp and 630Nm of torque—an increase of 43hp over the standard Rapide S.

Thanks to the lower ride height, stiffer suspension, and adaptive damping system, the Rapide AMR offers sharper handling and improved body control. The steering is well-weighted and direct, providing good feedback to the driver.

Despite its sportier setup, the Rapide AMR retains a level of comfort suitable for long-distance driving. The carbon ceramic brakes deliver powerful stopping power with a firm pedal feel, making the car feel secure and confident under heavy braking.
