Nissan has officially announced the debut of its 2024 Skyline Nismo models in the Japanese market. Nismo-tuned models usually have a touch of exclusivity and exceptional performance, both the Skyline Nismo and the Skyline Nismo Limited models are no different. The difference between the models of the Skyline Nismo is limited to aesthetics, production run and pricing.
Talking about the exclusivity factor of these new models, the production of the Skyline Nismo is limited to just 900 units with the launch scheduled for September 2023. While the Skyline Nismo Limited model will have a production run of 100 models and is scheduled to launch in the summer of 2024. However, both these models are made exclusively for the Japanese market.
The Nissan Skyline Nismo model is priced at 7,880,400 Yen (AED 200,000) and the Skyline Nismo Limited model costs 9,479,800 Yen (AED 242,000) as of August 2023. However, the tuned powerplant now produces 414hp and 550Nm of torque — an increase of 14hp and 75Nm over the standard Skyline. A seven-speed automatic transmission sends power to the rear wheels.
The Nismo models also get two new drive modes: Sport & Sport+. Both modes use a new TCU tune that revs the car to higher RPMs, shifts faster and delivers a sharper throttle response.
The limited-edition models continue to feature Nismo-exclusive exterior features & key elements. The design not only exudes dynamism but also enhances high-speed stability through improved downforce and reduced aerodynamic drag. The front grille and air guide redesign optimizes airflow for better cooling efficiency and reduced air resistance. The car is available in five colours, including the exclusive Nismo Stealth Gray.
